As part of one of the epic events put together as part of the Royal Horticultural Society’s many floral events throughout the year, the London Plant and Design show exhibits some of the most talented flower designers from across the country. This particular show displays the best of winter and early spring blossoming flowers, for a truly heart -warming display of beautiful arrangements and exhibits. Dundee Flower and Food festival (6th – 8th September 2013)
This festival is a truly remarkable feast for the senses, as stunning visual displays combine with remarkable tastes as beautiful flowers and food combine for this annual event. Talented florists create fantastic exhibits to entice visitors featuring sensational sculptures, exotic blooms and rare shrubbery, whilst master chefs and local farmers bring the taste buds a marvellous treat of interesting tastes, far-off fusions and the freshest, local produce. This spectacular show lovingly brings together the novice gardener and the expert designer all under one blossoming roof. All About Gardening is a memorable day for the whole family; stores can offer you advice on planting bulbs as well as providing the perfect pots, craft stalls can entertain kids young and old with a long list of workshops and talks on flower creations and crafty ideas and the adults can roam the aisles of fantastic floral displays, from internationally renowned designers right through to local florists showcasing their work.
